DO Membranes

Dissolved oxygen membranes are a necessary component to electrochemical DO sensors. They are a thin, semi-permeable material used to isolate the sensor electrodes from the environment. As the oxygen diffuses across the membrane, it produces a current proportional rate to the amount of dissolved oxygen within the water. Membranes are available in various thicknesses and materials based on application needs and should be replaced periodically.
