Turbidity Meters

Turbidity meters measure water clarity. The more turbid the water is, the cloudier it becomes. Often used in situations when measuring total suspended solids (TSS) is not feasible, turbidity measurements are a clear (pun intended) measure of water quality. Some of these instruments specifically measure turbidity, while others measure multiple parameters. The specific turbidity meters detect and measure how light is scattered through the sample, known as the nephelometric principle.
