IMPROVES YOUR BOATS OVERALL PERFORMANCE - GUARANTEED!!!
If these trim tabs don't provide you with an outstanding performance increase, contact us within 30 days of your purchase.

Why buy a manually adjusting trim tab set when you can get the automatic trim tabs that will self adjust and performance better for less money?

Designed for boats 23' - 30' weighing up to 6500 lbs The ST 1610 Series is ideal for low profile Fiber Glass, Aluminum, and RIB design boat with transom widths less than 10 feet (trailerable boats). This heavy duty system provides an active suspension system for the boat that increases stability and smooths the ride even in rough seas. Easier planning at slower speeds, increased payload performance, improved tracking and handling are available automatically without the need for pilot interface. No switches, no electric or hydraulic connections, and no maintenance. Just get in and go!

Specially designed for boats between 23' and 30" , under 10' in width, and up to 8,500 Lbs gross weight. The ST1610 series features two nitrogen gas actuators per plate providing increased stern lift and twice the reactive dampening, eliminating any instant changes from water pressure variances. This fully automatic and active system provides smooth and undetectable reaction to boat speed, and water conditions creating a level more comfortable ride.

Our breakthrough technology in trim tabs is completely automatic requiring no operator adjustment while underway. Nauticus trim tabs self adjust according to how you load and maneuver your boat.

The nitrogen Gas Actuator provides LIFT at the stern of the boat by holding the trim plate down during acceleration. The amount of LIFT is determined by the actuator load rating and the trim plate adjustment, which is done at the time of installation.

  • Reduce the minimum planning speed by up to 33%
  • Faster Acceleration
  • Increase top speed
  • Provide a level, more comfortable ride at lower speeds
  • Improve fuel economy, handling and safety

NO HYDRAULICS - NO ELECTRIC SWITCHES
Nauticus trim tabs are completely automatic requiring no operator adjustment while underway.

(see installation instruction).

SPEED REGULATION
Nauticus trim tabs start in a downward angel to maximize lift at slow speeds. As the boat accelerates, the water pushes up on the trim plates providing lift to the stern which minimizes bow rise, and allows the boat to plane quickly.

Once the water pressure exceeds the actuator load rating (maximum lift) the trim plates move up to a horizontal position eliminating any drag.

BOAT STABILIZERS
Even when cruising SMART TABS continue to work like shock absorbers. The constant adjustment to sea conditions allow SMART TABS to provide remarkable stability in turns, while crossing waves, while cruising, and while running at maximum speeds. No more sliding, porpoising, or chine walking.

ONE OF A KIND
The unique system is the only one of its kind in the industry. The internal valve system is truly "smart" in its design of controlling you boats performance.

It will reduce the minimum planning speed by 33%
Provide a level, more comfortable ride at lower speeds
Improve economy, handling and safety

As the boat speed increases, the water pressure also increases. Once the water pressure exceeds the Actuator load rating (maximum LIFT period) the trim plates begin to move upward until they are horizontal with the bottom of the boat.

The internal valve system dampens the trim plate movement which eliminates any instant reaction to minor water pressure variances. Nauticus trim tabs provide smooth and undetectable reaction to boat speed creating a level, more comfortable ride at lower speeds.

INSTALLATION IS SIMPLE
With an electric drill, small drill bit, a phillips screwdriver, and two wrenches, just about anyone can install SMART TABS in less than an hour. Professional installers should be able to install SMART TABS in 30 minutes or less.

All mounting hardware, instructions, and templates are included.

SMART TABS require NO THROUGH HULL DRILLING

Nonprofit kick-starts water data gathering in Nepal Valley

For the first time, citizens of the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal have free access to local water data. The data is the result of a water quality monitoring pilot project started by the California-based nonprofit SmartPhones4Water (S4W). SmartPhones4Water, an idea developed by Ph.D. student Jeff Davids and the late Dr. Peter-Jules van Overloop from Delft University of Technology (Netherlands), was started in California in 2014. The goal of the organization is to leverage smartphone technology to gather water data in countries where such data is scarce. The method is simple: a network of local citizens use their smartphones to capture and upload the data to an online server and database.

Riverkeeper Initiative Tackles Water Monitoring, Activism and Education

Celebrating its 25th year, Coosa River Basin Initiative is forming a new water monitoring partnership with the Berry College Environmental Science program. Coosa River Basin Initiative, also known as CRBI , is a grassroots environmental protection organization that works with volunteers to protect and preserve the Coosa River in Rome, Georgia and the surrounding cities. CRBI is a member of the Georgia Water Coalition and the Waterkeeper Alliance. You may be wondering what is so special about the Coosa River. The answer is just about everything. The river is a vital part of the communities surrounding it. “Every river is important but the Coosa River is important in several unique ways,” said Jesse Demonbruen-Chapman, director of CRBI.

Algae Bloom Spawns New Water Monitoring Program In Utah Lake

The result of a harmful algae bloom in the summer of 2016, the enhanced Utah Lake water quality monitoring program reached its one year milestone in September. Located near the Provo and Orem metropolitan areas, the lake is Utah’s largest freshwater body and a popular water recreation and fishing spot. In the summer of 2016, recreation users reported an unusual amount of scum on the surface of the water. Utah Lake is monitored by the Utah Division of Water Quality (UDWQ). Prior to the 2016 harmful algae bloom (HAB), the UDWQ successfully used regular water sample testing and citizen reporting to stay on top of any incidents.
