A website designed to be an all-inclusive source for information about marine protected areas in California is going strong with more than 200 members during less than a year of operation.
Oceanspaces.org is a site created to give anyone from students, to fisherman, to legislator to scientist information on California’s marine areas. Active members can download and upload data for free on water quality, fishing, and state water monitoring, according to an article about the site from Yuba Net.
The site features pages for data, interactive maps and member profiles.
