In a talk with the CEO of Sensoplex, a sensor manufacturer in Silicon Valley, PCWorld has made a ranking of sensors likely to be included in Apple’s smartwatches. A few could help track metrics of environmental quality around users.

Along with obvious inclusions like accelerometers and gyroscopes to measure motion, Apple may include sensors for barometric pressure and ambient temperature, the magazine reports. GPS capability, which is helpful in GIS data mapping, also makes the list.

Such a device from Apple doesn’t exist yet, so the ranking is pure speculation. But similar devices on the market today contain sensing tech and experts say an Apple smartwatch wouldn’t be much different.
