A collaborative, interagency group of scientists will meet this February in Folsom, Calif., for a workshop on the health of the San Francisco Bay Estuary, according to an announcement from the San Francisco Bay Estuary Interagency Ecological Program.

The conference will be held from Feb. 26 to Feb. 28.

There will be talks on wetland restoration and modelling ecosystem response. Other sessions will feature contamination patterns and trophic health. Technical sessions will also feature biology, like salmon health and recovery.

Several social events will also occur, including a student-mentor lunch where new scientists can meet with experienced scientists to discuss their careers.
