Details: The GlobalFix 406 is 17.5 x 6.25 x 5.5 in. (44.5 x 15.4 x 14.0 cm), made of high impact polycarbonate blend case/polyethylene bracket and weighs only 4.5 lbs. (2.0 kg)
The deployment is automatic with hydrostatic release or manual by lifting the switch up, slide left, push back and down fully, and break the tab. The GlobalFix 406 is waterproof to 33 ft (10 m) with an operating life of 48 hours at -40 degrees Celsius. The lithium battery has a 5-year replacement life and the unit has a 5 year limited warranty.
