Its as easy as pushing a button, and with an internal GPS receiver the ResQFix will acquire your GPS position and transmit it along with your personalized identifier code through the COSPAS-SARSAT satellites instantly alerting Search and Rescue forces that you need help, immediately! The ResQFix works fast, if GPS data is present in the beacons first transmission, SAR forces can be notified and start planning your rescue in as little as three minutes.
Transmits on 406 MHz via the COSPAS-SARSAT satellite system with your registered, unique, digitally coded distress signal and 121.5 MHz (SAR homing frequency). Has an onboard 12 channel parallel GPS acquires then transmits LAT/LON when the unit is activated, dramatically saving valuable time for your distress message to reach local rescue centers and providing rescue agencies with your exact position to within 110 yards (100 meters).

The class 2 lithium battery packs can transmit for 24 hrs at -20 degrees Celsius and has a 5-year replacement life (11 year storage). To operate, deploy the antenna and press the ON button. The unit is waterproof up to 16ft. for 1 hr., or 33ft for 10min and has a 5-year limited warranty.
