The Pull-pin Vest Strobe is 3.1 L x 1.8 W x 1.6 D in (7.9 L x 4.6 W x 4.1 D cm), made with UV stabilized composite polymer and weighs only 2.8 oz (65 g).
To operate, it has a pull-pin activation; automatic on some vests, manual activation when pulled by hand. The strobe light (incandescent) has a visibility of 15 cd vertical; 2.5 cd horizontal; 2m (3.2 km).
The operational life is approximately 8 hours continuous at -20 degrees Celsius. The lithium battery has a 10-year storage life (5-year replacement life) and the unit has a 1-year limited warranty.
