Low cost, rugged seabed package recovery system designed for retrieval of anchor pennant lines, bottom mounted instrumentation, arrays, or any device that can be tethered to the seabed with a recovery line. 75 or 200 meter line length standard.
Secure digital frequency shift keying (FSK) codes permit reliable recovery operation even in the presence of severe multi-path conditions. A total of 136 unique commands are available.
Contains a release configured with a syntactic flotation collar (provides 13 lbs positive buoyancy) and line canister containing 75 meters 1/4" spectra line with 6200 lbs breaking strength (longer line lengths available). Rated to 300 meters (1000 ft). Battery receiver life is 6 months (1 year with lithium battery optional.). For use with Benthos Deck Units DS-8750, DS-7000 or DS-8000.
