The Extech 42266 incorporates the 42260 temperature data logger into a stand alone programming unit, complete with a thermal printer. The 42260 is IP65 waterproof and can log up to 8,000 temperature readings for days, weeks, and even months. The great thing is that several data loggers can be used and all of the data can be downloaded through the programming unit. There is optional software and USB cable (SW276) that is used to program, download, and further analyze data on a PC.

There are three different ways the included 42260 logger can begin logging, either scheduled, immediate, or magnetic. When storing data, the time and date is also stored with the real-time clock feature. With even more flexibility, the sampling rate is programmable from one second to two hours, plus high/low limits with alarm indication.
