Hach color cubes combine a sample/mixing cell and a calibrated, stepped color comparator in a single molded plastic piece. Color cube kits include reagents for 25 to 50 tests, and are available for many of the most popular test parameters.
Color cube kits are very easy to use. Just mix premeasured reagent with the sample in the cube, allow the sample to react, and match the developed color to one of five calibrated steps. Typical accuracy of a color cube test is +/- 1/2 step, subject to individual color perception.
