With intuitive icons and scrolling menus, the SD900 Portable Samplers set up easily and in less than two minutes. The large color-coded keys and buttons accommodate gloved hands and the large, five-line, transflective LED backlit display stays readable in bright or subdued light. In addition, pump downtime and maintenance is held to a minimum while maximizing reliable results. The desiccant tube mounted on the side of the controller and the pump tubing is readily accessible and can be changed in minutes.
The Sigma SD900 Samplers use a strong pump draw and spring-loaded rollers to ensure that large particulates will not interfere with sample collection. The positive displacement peristaltic pump induces flow by squeezing a flexible 3/8 inch tube, while spring loaded rollers reduce pump tubing wear to prevent jams. The Sigma SD900 Samplers can be programmed for time-based, flow-based, composite and multiple bottle sampling set-ups. Up to three separate sampling programs can be stored simultaneously.
Sigma's All Weather Refrigerated Sampler has been designed to last longer than any other sampler available. The compressor is located on top of the unit to avoid hydrogen sulfide and other corrosive heavier-than-air gases, which attack conventional refrigerated samplers with floor-level compressors. The sampler is also equipped with a tough, chemically resistant coating to better protect refrigeration lines against moisture and corrosive gases. In addition, the unit is constructed with stainless steel hardware, sealed electrical connections and weather resistant cables to complete its corrosion-resistant design.
