The Humminbird 717 fishfinder gives you the outstanding performance and coverage with the DualBeam PLUS sonar. The DualBeam PLUS sonar has a narrowly focused center beam, surrounded by a second beam of 60 degree, expanding your coverage to an area equal to your depth - in 20 feet of water the wider beam covers an area 20 feet wide. The first beam is focused on the bottom, to show you structure, weeds and cover. The second beam is hunting for fish in the wide coverage area. You can use the beams independently or working together they give you a clearer picture of what's going on underneath the boat.
The 717 has a high resolution, power and pro-grade performance with a high contrast 320V x 320H ultra-high resolution 5 inch FSTN display. The DualBeam PLUS sonar delivers wide coverage and better bottom definition with selectable 20 degree or 60 degree beams, or simultaneous operation. Has a maximum of 2400 Watts peak-to-peak (300 Watts RMS) power output. The 717 is reliable from shallow to 1000 feet while documenting water temperature and speed. The 717 comes equipped with tilt and swivel quick disconnect mount system or optional in-dash mount.
