The NexSens wet weather notification system is based on a cellular communication network and SMS (short message system). The system offers everything needed to setup and operate a rainfall notification system. Direct notification (from the field to cellular phone) offers alphanumeric messaging while PC based notification offers email and website posting options.
The user sets up an alarm based on rainfall using the supplied iChart software, and the NexSens iSIC cellular data logger does the rest - measures, records, and compares the measured rainfall to the alarm set point, and sends the notification to a preset list of cellular phones. A test message can be sent daily or weekly to confirm proper function.
