The Ritchie B-51 Explorer compass has many great features. It comes with a 2 3/4" easy-to-read direct reading dial that is adjustable and removable with bracket and thumbscrews. At night, it is still very readable with an internal green light. To easily adjust for deviation, there are built-in compensators. Greater accuracy is achieved by using a scientifically matched sapphire jewel and hardened steel pivot dial. Powerful DirectiveForce magnets help for fast heading lock-on. Other features include: movable sun shield, high temperature composite construction for extended operating range, and an exclusive 5-year Ritchie warranty. All compasses come standard with 12 volt lighting.
