The Ritchie HF-742 Helmsman compass comes with a 3 3/4" PowerDamp flat dial. Easily installed, they fit in 4" mounting holes. At night, it uses its built-in NiteVu night illumination. To easily adjust for deviation, there are built-in compensators. For fast heading lock-on, powerful DirectiveForce magnets are included. Greater accuracy is achieved by using a scientifically matched sapphire jewel and hardened steel pivot dial. Other features include a movable sun shield, high temperature composite construction for extended operating range, 45 degree lubber lines, and an exclusive 5-year Ritchie warranty. The HF-743 comes with a 3 3/4" CombiDamp dial. Both the HF-742W and the HF-743W are powder-coated white. All compasses come standard with 12 volt lighting.
