Details: Ready for any challenging outdoor condition, the FlowTracker Handheld ADV (Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter) measures 2D or 3D currents, attaches easily to wading rods, and features an automatic discharge computation using a variety of international methods, including ISO and USGS standards. At the end of the data run, just press a button and the FlowTracker calculates the discharge for you!
The FlowTracker's unique acoustic Doppler ADV sensor measures point velocity without needing calibration. Velocity and diagnostic data are saved in the waterproof handheld display unit, and discharge can be calculated with the push of a button. Detailed 1-second velocity data, diagnostic data, and discharge summary reports can then be uploaded to your PC. The FlowTracker attaches to USGS-style wading rods.
