Based on a reliable hex drive, quick-connect system, these fast-working bucket augers provide years of trouble-free service. A locking hinge pin secures the tool sections, offers quick change-out of accessories, and eliminates thread problems. The hinge pins are hand removable to free the sections and auger buckets. No tools are required in the field. Heat-treated, super alloy steel bits on all augers facilitate a smooth, easy cutting action and minimize wear.
Bucket augers are available in 2", 3", or 4" diameters. The planer augers are designed to flatten and clean the bottom of a pre-bored hole. This is useful when sizing a hole for permeability testing and where precise sizing is required.
