Based on a reliable hex drive, quick-connect system, these fast-working bucket augers provide years of trouble-free service. A locking hinge pin secures the tool sections, offers quick change-out of accessories, and eliminates thread problems. The hinge pins are hand removable to free the sections and auger buckets. No tools are required in the field. Heat-treated, super alloy steel bits on all augers facilitate a smooth, easy cutting action and minimize wear.
Bucket augers are available in 2", 3", or 4" diameters. The unique design of our mud augers makes them ideal for use in a wide variety of wet soils including mucky and boggy root bound soils. Soil discharge from these augers is easy due to the open design. Mud augers are 12" (30cm) in length.
