The portable YSI 52 is easy-to-use for field and lab work. An easy-to-read LCD provides clear, simultaneous display of time, temperature, % saturation, and mg/L oxygen. Readings are compensated automatically for temperature, and manually for salinity. To assure the highest accuracy, an auto stable feature indicates when the readings have reached user-defined criteria for stability.
The YSI 52 has internal, non-volatile memory capable of storing up to 70 DO and temperature readings. Data stored internally can be reviewed on the LCD, or uploaded to a PC or an RS-232 printer. Six D-cell batteries provide 100 hours of operation.
