Instrument Repair & Calibration

Quality data can be directly correlated to the condition of your monitoring equipment. Fondriest Environmental offers a unique maintenance and certification program for YSI 6-Series sondes & displays, YSI 556 multi-parameter meters, and all other YSI handheld water quality meters.

Instrument check-up, characterization, and certification by a factory-authorized service center are recommended on a semi-annual basis. In addition to improved data quality, the useful life of the monitoring instrument is extended with regular service.

Fondriest's factory-authorized service & repair center offers excellent turn-around times and low service costs on your YSI instrument repair and annual maintenance services, ensuring the continuity of your sampling program and accuracy of your data.

 

Sending Instruments in for Service

1. When sending a YSI instrument in for repair, please include a point of contact, along with a note explaining the problems exhibited by the instrument.

2. Upon receipt of the instrument, Fondriest repair technicians will perform a free evaluation and send a repair quote via email to the point of contact.
    
3. Our technicians will repair the instrument based on your feedback. Your instrument is returned with a Fondriest Calibration Report to confirm that all system parameters meet factory specifications.
    

As the peak sampling season winds down, it is a good idea to ensure that your water quality instruments are inspected, reconditioned, calibrated, and ready for another season of accurate water quality data.

By sending your YSI instruments to the Fondriest Service & Repair Center, you can be assured it will be returned to you meeting factory specifications in a timely and cost-effective manner.
