Thermo Orion Intrinsically Safe Meters are designed for use where non-sparking equipment is desired, these meters carry US intrinsically safe approval rating by Factory Mutual (FM).

The Thermo Orion 131S is designed for measurement of conductivity, salinity, total dissolved solids, and temperature. Wide measurement range allows for a variety of samples. The meter calibrates via AUTO-CAL and cell constant adjustment method. The meter is compatible with two or four electrode cells. Temperature compensation options, such as automatic or manual linear function, and nonlinear function for ultra-pure or natural water are available. This meter offers an easy to use interface cell status and self-diagnostic testing. The Thermo Orion 131S is intrinsically safe for use in a non-sparking environment.

A complete field kit is available. This field kit includes the meter, probe or cell, beakers, and standards. The meter warranty is 3 years.

The Thermo Orion 131S Intrinsically Safe Meter has an IP66 rating.
What is the difference between the intrinsically safe 131S and 136S conductivity meters?
The Thermo Orion 131S does not have data logging capabilities. The 136S intrinsically safe conductivity meter includes a 100 point data logger and an RS-232 interface cable for connection to a PC.
