A new wetland conservation tool kit has been released by a collaboration of European research organizations, according to a University of Essex news release.

The Wetland Resources Action Planning toolkit is a combination of recommended management practices and conservation methods. Researchers from England, China, Denmark and several other countries tested the methods in China, India and Vietnam.

There are three main sections the European Union funded consortium recommends.  The first section outlines methods for engaging the local citizens and establishing a basic starting schedule.  The second section describes location assessment and action plans. The third section details project completion and evaluation.
