Which probes are compatible with the YSI 58?
Five different oxygen probes are compatible with this meter: YSI 5239 field probe, 5739 field probe, 5905 BOD probe, 5750 BOD probe and 5718 probe.
How frequently should the meter be calibrated?
YSI recommends that calibration be performed daily, as the calibration can be disturbed by dropping the probe, membrane fouling or contact or loss of electrolyte. YSI recommends using water-saturated air, Winkler titration, or air-saturated water methods to calibrate.
