EPA pressured to make gas companies reveal fracking fluid contents

Democrat Senators are calling for the Environmental Protection Agency to compel gas companies to reveal their fracking fluid components.  Fracking fluid is used to fracture wells, facilitating the process of removing natural gas and oil from underground. The senators released a study which indicated several gas and oil companies use fracking fluid that contained diesel fuel.The Senators, as well as environmentalists have expressed concern that the fracking processes is unsafe.  Both parties have cited instances of fracking fluid chemicals finding their way into groundwater and contaminating the drinking-water reserve.
