The Extech Digital High Voltage Insulation Tester is capable of reading insulation resistances up to 60 GigaOhms. The handheld device can generate voltages up to 5000 VDC to test electrical insulation, and can also be used as a standard ohmmeter to measure resistances up to 6000 ohms.

The unit easily toggles between available modes, including its four separate test voltage ranges for measuring extremely high resistances. The meter also includes built-in functions for computing the polarization index or dielectric absorption ratio of a dielectric material.

Bacterium Breaks Down Ammonium in Sewage and Runoff Without Oxygen
