National council webinar will present university water data sharing system

The National Water Quality Monitoring Council will host a webinar on Wednesday, Jan. 9, about data sharing and discovery using an information sharing system designed for university researchers.

The web seminar will feature the Consortium of Universities for the Advancement of Hydrologic Science Hydrologic Information System.  Richard Hooper, the executive director of the consortium, will present the system.

The webinar is free and accessible to anyone interested in listening and conversing. No preregistration is required. It will start at 11 a.m. eastern time.

Click here to join the webinar on Wednesday at least ten minutes before it starts.  Then select join next to “NWQMC CUASHI Hydrologic Information System.”  The password for the webinar is “hydro.” The call in number for the webinar is 1-866-299-3188 and the access code is 5661187#.
