The Seametrics PS9800 pressure transmitter offers noise immunity, transient protection, and thermal stability. This sensor also includes added thermal compensation to offer pinpoint accuracy, typically within 0.06% FSO, making it ideal for sites where reliable readings are a must.

Is the Seametrics Aqua4Plus software needed for the PS9800 submersible pressure transmitter?
No, since the PS9800 is a simple 2-wire, 4-20mA output sensor, it does not require the software like some of their smart sensors would. More information in the manual: https://www.fondriest.com/pdf/seametrics_ps9800_manual.pdf
Is there a maximum cable length for this particular transducer?
As long as the pressure does not exceed the range that it is rated for, the sensor will not be damaged. In general, signal loss does not occur until around 500m, and increased pressure is more likely to damage the transducer.

Monitoring Meadowbrook Creek: Real-Time Data Collection in an Urban Creek

Meadowbrook Creek in Syracuse, New York, has been monitored by Syracuse University (SU) faculty and students for over a decade. Originally established by Dr. Laura Lautz in 2012, the early years of the program focused on collecting grab water samples for laboratory analysis and evaluating the impact of urban land use, human activities, and natural processes on water resources.
